Los Angeles attractions

Los Angeles bars

Los Angeles hotels

Sky Bar
In one of LA’s most iconic neighbourhoods, the Sky Bar offers unrivalled views of the city skyline. A chic location set in an ivy covered pavilion and with a pool outside, it’s an excellent location to watch the beautiful people and sample the excellent cocktail list. 8440 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles Tel - 323 650 8999

Catalina Jazz Club
A touch of sophistication and Old World charm backed up by a stonking list of jazz a-list performers make this an excellent nighttime choice. Huge stars such as Dizzy Gillespie and Chuck Corea have performed here, and owner Catalina Popescu refuses to rest on her laurels, unabashedly stating her raison d’etre: “to bring the best jazz talent to Hollywood and continue to do so far for many years to come." 6725 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90028. Tel -323 856-1745

The Edison
A cool hangout located in a former boiler room (who said the Americans don’t do irony?). The Edison boasts an antique power generator behind a glass wall and plenty more design flourishes to catch the eye. What it’s most famous for though are excellent drinks and a sexy Burlesque night on Wednesdays. 108 West 2nd Street (Main Street) Los Angeles, CA 90012 Tel - 213 784-3678
